Behind the Camera
Hi, I'm Lucy. Thank you for visiting my site. Here's a little about me.
I grew up on a beef and dairy farm in Wales, and spent most of my early life outdoors.
In 2012 I started to work on the farm, re-finding my love for the countryside, and all that goes on behind-the-scenes in looking after it.
I first got into photography in 2015, when I started my instagram @AgriLuce. I wanted to share farm life, and found that sharing photos on instagram was a great platform to do so. I used my iPhone 5S camera until I was able to get a DSLR - my trusty Canon 70D. Since then I've started studying a photography degree, and have greatly developed my skills.
Whilst I mostly do agricultural photography, I also work in portraiture, having recently completed a series entitled "Meet the Church Farmers".
I've entered my photography into several competitions, and recently achieved 2nd and 3rd place in the Gwent Federation of Young Farmers Clubs Rally 2018 photographic competition. I do hope to earn more awards as I distinguish myself in the photographic industry, and aim to have my work published.
